Golf Valley Resort

The brief

Golf Valley Resort at Kalpetta spreads across a Wayanad hillside — guest blocks, a kitchen, pumping, and a good deal of outdoor lighting, all fed from one incomer over long cable runs. The client needed both the panel work and the site installation handled together, so that the distribution scheme, the cable sizing and the protection coordination were designed as one system rather than assembled piecemeal.

What we did

• Fabricated and supplied the main LT panel and the sub-distribution boards, with correctly rated breakers, busbars and protection coordinated from the incomer down to the final circuits
• Installed the 3-phase distribution across the site, sizing cable runs for voltage drop over the long feeder lengths between blocks
• Wired guest room DBs with individual room isolation, RCBO protection on wet-area and geyser circuits, and separate lighting and power circuits
• Segregated the kitchen block onto its own feeder for cooking, refrigeration and exhaust loads
• Set up the pump house and overhead tank circuits with motor starters, protection and level control
• Installed dusk-to-dawn landscape, pathway and perimeter lighting on timer control with weatherproof fittings suited to the Wayanad monsoon
• Provided generator changeover with essential and non-essential loads clearly split, and ran dedicated earthing pits for the panel room, the kitchen and the pump house

Outcome

Panels supplied, installation completed, tested and handed over with documentation for KSEB and the Electrical Inspectorate.
